Washington State

The first weekend in February found Jake and I taking a last minute trip down to Washington State.  ...I really mean, last minute.  Plane tickets came up at a very reasonable price, so we jumped at them.  Of course, we had a reason to, two reasons, actually.  One is that our Sister-in-law, Jenni, lives down there.  Of course, we had to stop in and bug her for a while.  Things worked out that we could take her out to dinner at TGI Fridays on Sunday evening.  It was great to see her and we had a very nice visit with her.  She is due May 3rd with her and Jess' first baby.  We were considerate, though, and didn't take any belly shots.  We did get a picture of the 3 of us, and of course, in true form, I am blinking...nice, huh?

We also went down to see a horse we have been looking at purchasing for the past few months, over in Central Washington state. She is a 2002 Bay/Blanketed Appaloosa mare.  Her bloodlines boast of many World and National Champions.  Both her sire and dam hold multiple titles themselves.  Even in her young age, "Annie" holds 2 Top Ten World Titles and an ROM!  We have arranged for  her to be hauled back to Wisconsin, and to be bred to Magnum later this spring.  We are very excited about her!  She will be an awesome addition to our breeding program.
